Synopsis

Since their parents split up, Sara and her younger sister live with their mother, whose new partner is a woman, The situation is totally fine with Sara. But not everyone sees it that way. As Sara's 13th birthday approaches, she feels rather overwhelmed: Everything feels wrong.

Pepa SAN MARTIN
Born in 1974, Curicó, Chile. She began working in cinema in 2004, always in the area of directing, alongside most of the directors on the new Chilean movie scene. Rara is her first full-length feature film which won a Grand Prix of the Generation Kplus International Jury Best Feature Film at 2016 Berlin International Film Festival.
