Alain CORNEAU
The Chairman of Jury. French director Alain Corneau made his directorial feature debut with France Societe Anonyme in 1974. Prior to becoming a director, he was a jazz musician who has worked and studied in the U.S. He then became an assistant director for a few years and also wrote scripts. His features include: All the Mornings in the World (1993), Fort Saganne (1984) and Choice of Arms (1983). His most recent film, Fear and Trembling, screened under the World Fantastic Cinema program in PiFan2003.
Jan HARLAN
Born in Germany in 1937. From Clockwork Orange to Eyes Wide Shut, Jan Harlan worked as an executive producer for Stanley Kubrick and Warner Bros. After Kubrick's death, he made the documentary film Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures. He did a substantial book on Kubrick, as well as a major exhibition which opened at the Film museum in Frankfurt in 2003, and he made a series on The Fun in Classical Chamber Music.
Colin GEDDES
Born in Ontario, Canada. Colin Geddes has had a curiosity about horror and sci-fi films since his childhood. He got sidetracked writing about Hong Kong cinema, and published a film journal called 'Asian Eye', that focused on genre film from Asia. He is a programmer of Midnight Madness series at The Toronto International Film Festival, where he introduced the Asian directors such as Takashi Miike, Kim Jee-wun and Tsui Hark to North American film society.
Youki KUDOH
Born in 1971 in Tokyo, Kudoh made her debut with The Crazy Family (1984) as an actress. She was also active as a singer while she was performing in Typhoon Club (1985). She drew attention from around the world with Mystery Train, directed by Jim Jarmusch in 1989. Since then, Kudoh has appeared in several international films such as Picture Bride (1995), Heaven's Burning (1997) and Snow Falling on Cedars (2000). In 2003, The Wind Carpet, she is a producer as well as actress.
KIM Yun-jin
Born 1973. After graduating from an art high school in New York, she studied theater acting at both Boston University and British American Drama Academy. After working as an actress in the theater in New York and other parts of the U.S. A, she came to Korea, where she started working in TV productions. She made her feature film debut in 1998 with Shiri, and went on to star in such films as Ginko Bed 2 and Yesterday, where in both films she portrayed women of will. For her part in Deep Loves, she won the leading actress award at the The Blue Dragon Awards. She became as a famous world star with the Lost which is the popular TV series in U. S. A.

YOO Jin-ok
Born 1969. After graduating from Ewha University majoring in Korean literature, she has since actively worked as a producer. She began her career with the film A Single Spark (1995), and went on to produce such major films as director Lim Sun-rae's Three Friends (1996), Chang Sun-woo's Bad Movie (1997), Kim Ji-woon's Violation King (1999), and Lee Jong-hyuk's H (2002).
KIM Dong-won
Born in 1974, Kim graduated from Seoul Institute of the Art majoring in filmmaking. Kim Dong-won made his directorial feature debut with ’81 Bet on My Disco, which is based on his own short film ’81 Best on My Disco. ’81 Bet on My Disco was awarded the People's Choice of PiFan 2002. He directed a comedy drama La Cucaracha in 2003.
In Jung-ok
Born February 2nd, 1968. After graduating from Ewha University majoring in Sociology, she worked as a writer for television dramas. She started working in films by writing the script for Whispering Corridors, and she showed her talent in depicting the complex and delicate minds of high school students with her script for Memento Mori.
KIM Woo-hyung
Born in 1969, Kim Woo-hyung studied cinematography at the London International Film School. As a cinematographer his works include Timeless, Bottomless, Bad Movies (1997), Lies (1999), and Resurrection of the Little Match Girl (2000), which were directed by Jang Sun-woo Happy End (1999) directed by Jung Jee-woo and A Good Lawyer's Wife (2003) directed by Lim Sang-soo.
KIM In-kwon
Born 1978. After majoring in films and theater at Donguk University, Kim In Kwon worked on the crew of director Park Jong one's Rainbow Trout (1999). While on the set, he was cast in a small role, and thus began his film career as an actor. He has since then starred in many films and TV dramas, including Anarchists and My Wife Is Gangster and Plastic Tree. His directoral debut Shivski, his graduation piece, is also his first feature film.
